Technology Platform:
- Siemens PLC as data aggregator for each manufacturing shop
- Multiple protocol converters
- Data flow to SQL database
Project Scope:
- Preparation of communication architecture for data connectivity for connecting 450 machines which were on different protocols.
- Programming of each PLC to establish connectivity with protocol converter.
- Establishing connectivity between protocol converter to shop controller.
- Pulling relevant data from each machine and sharing to shop controller.
- Establishing connectivity between all shop controllers.
- Sharing data from each shop controller to master SQL database.
